When this 125-year-old, top tier winery, located in the historic heart of Rioja, found themselves with surplus of their sumptuous Gran Reserva (the one that usually goes into their top wine), they knew who to call. Beth, our buyer in the area, is an expert that winemakers throughout Spain trust with their best. This means she gets access to exclusive deals for our customers. Like a one-off low price, in exchange for anonymity, for this 2014. Of course, we didn't think you’d mind what’s on the label once you taste the silkiness of this red. Made from parcels of the most intense Tempranillo, aged for 24 months in the best French and American oak, it offers layers of mature ripe red berries with a heady blend of coffee, balsamic and chocolate.
