Just south of Adelaide is the renowned McLaren Vale region. It is one of the oldest and most well-established wine regions in Australia, and with its warm summers and rolling-hill landscapes, grape growing excels here. Black grape varieties are particular popular here, bathing in the Australian sun ensuring optimal ripeness. No more so than Shiraz – the most planted grape in the area. With their concentrated dark fruits, spice notes and full but supple tannins, McLaren Vale Shiraz stands proudly alongside Barossa Shiraz as some of Australia’s finest. The Vale is a superb red from the region. Bold blackcurrant, black pepper and liquorice spice with a long, smooth finish. This will elevate any barbecue and impress at dinner parties.

"From one of Australia's finest wine regions, The Vale is a rich, fruit-filled and spicy Shiraz" Daniel Parrott
