Jean-Marc Sauboua is a Trophy-winning Bordeaux winemaker, for both reds and whites. And Triplex is his newest creation. It was born of a challenge set by a winemaker mate Down Under, Alex Trescowthick. He got wind of Alex's 3-way Sauvignon created to match the world's great Fumé Blancs. Not to be outdone, he thought he'd show that Bordeaux could do it better! First JM checked out a terrific, vibrantly fresh parcel of pure Sauvignon Blanc. He divided it into three - fermenting one part in oak barrel for luscious spice, one part in concrete egg for creamy depth and roundness and the last in shiny bright, stainless steel tanks for pure zingy fruit. And wow! This wine delivers! Just the ticket for creamy sauced chicken, risotto or its own.
