Classic Tuscan red from an exceptional estate. Founded in 1984 by Rita and Virgilio Tua with just 2 hectares of vines, it has developed a cult following. Every year, its wines score highly. Gorgeous, dark and chocolaty Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah red.

Founders Rita and Virgilio started the Tua Rita property as farmers, but their passion for wine gained the upperhand. Their two-hectare vineyard has grown, nearly 40 years later, to 30 and they have progressed from 'garage' winemakers to a small, gravity-fed cellar, and their wines gain top scores from the world's toughest critics. The property lies in Val di Cornia, between the Tyrrhenian sea and Colline Metallafere, in much-desired Maremma (home to top names Sassicaia and Tignanello). This is their Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot red from the pebble and clay soils of upper Maremma. Intense, dark fruits, with a touch of hazelnut and chocolaty spice, it's a great foil for rich pasta or grilled meats.
