What do you get if you cross generations of Spanish winemaking experience with verdant Chilean vineyards, nourished by pure, crystal clear snowmelt from the mighty Andes mountains? This deeply refreshing, great value Sauvignon. It’s the second vintage from a new venture that sees Felix Solís – representing the third generation of one of Spain’s most famous winemaking families – crafting tasty wines in Chile’s viticultural paradise. Felix came across his plot of Sauvignon vines on the banks of the River Teno in the Valle Central, where breezes from the Pacific and the Andes cool the hand harvested vines. Grapes are then cool fermented to achieve the bright fruit character that makes this wine such a refreshing aperitif or seafood partner.
