We love everything about this mature-vine rosé, from its beautiful salmon pink colour to the lush strawberry and raspberry aromas and crisp, refreshing finish – not to mention the price! Made in the Languedoc by one of our favourite winemakers.

Jeff Carrel is one of southern France’s best-loved and most energetic winemakers. Wine Advocate rated a previous vintage of this rosé 88 points (very rare for rosé at such a low price) and Terre de Vins concludes “the talent of the man is outrageous”. This wine has also won Jeff three Gold medals from the leading French wine guide, Gilbert & Gaillard. Made purely from Cinsault, it is pale salmon pink, with lush strawberry and raspberry aromas and a crisp, mouthwatering finish. The vines are more than 35 years old and produce small yields of concentrated fruit, which gives this pink lots of juicy, ripe berry flavours. But there’s also a finesse akin to a Provence rosé that makes it a perfect match for a Salade Niçoise or grilled fish.

"Very impressive. Very clean with rich red berry flavours! Can’t wait to open another bottle" 5-Star Online Review
