'I thoroughly enjoyed the course, and have already recommended it to friends. To have the opportunity to study in the Averys wines cellars really made for a holistic learning experience. Especially as I have heard of other organisations who offer the WSET course in clinical boardrooms.
The wines were diverse and I felt I learnt a lot by tasting some styles I would never have normally tried. I have certainly come to appreciate sweet wines now! In general it was a treat to taste some quality Averys wines which I would not have discovered otherwise.
The sessions were fun and informative, and the group was a great size - big enough to have good discussions, but small enough to keep things moving along. I thought the combination of tasting, presentation, and textbook teaching (even the surprise mocks!) was well rounded and really helped prepare us for the exam.
The course packed a lot of information in, supplemented by all your extra handouts etc, so I definitely felt it was value for money.'
'I thought the venue was excellent, and your teaching was outstanding, given that you are very clearly passionate about wine and able to translate that to your students. The quality and variety of wine was also outstanding, and above all I thought the whole execution of the course was fantastic value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending you and Averys to anyone who was interested in learning more about the fabulous world of wine.'
