Heytesbury is the flagship of Vasse Felix, the founding cellar of premium Margaret River, still today the region's shining star. The Halliday Companion called the wine "a scintillating show of powerful fruit, mineral/juicy acidity. A superstar".

Vasse Felix is a name said with reverence in the same breath as Margaret River. The second-generation estate was established in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity – the first in the region, paving the way for an area that has since established a superb reputation for some of Australia’s finest wines. Heytesbury is their flagship range – a Bordeaux-style red and this remarkable Chardonnay. The finest grapes of the vintage are gently pressed and the juice put into top-quality new French oak barrels for a wild yeast fermentation. Maturation for a further nine months in oak with its lees lends a subtle layer of toasty, creamy-textured spice to this magnificent white, balanced by racy minerality. Serve on special occasions with sauced white meats or salmon.
