We love everything about this old-vine rosé, from its beautiful salmon pink colour to the lush strawberry and raspberry aromas and crisp, refreshing finish – not to mention the price! Made in the Languedoc by one of our favourite winemakers.

Jeff Carrel is one of Southern France’s best loved and most energetic winemakers. Wine Advocate rated the 2017 vintage of this rosé 88 points (unheard of for rosé at such a low price) and Terre de Vins concludes “the talent of the man is outrageous”. This wine has also won Jeff two Gold medals from the leading French wine guide, Gilbert & Gaillard. Made purely from Cinsault, it is pale salmon pink, with lush strawberry and raspberry aromas and a crisp, mouthwatering finish. The vines are more than 35 years old and produce small yields of concentrated fruit, which gives this pink lots of juicy, ripe berry flavours. But there’s also a finesse akin to a Provence rosé that makes it a perfect match for a Salade Niçoise or grilled fish.

"Clean, lightly textured and refreshing, a classic dry rosé" Jeb Dunnock, Critic
