The Wine
Averys Special Cuvée has been made for us by the superb Boizel Champagne house for more than 50 years. This exceptional family winery was established in 1834, and has since been passed down from generation to generation. Over the years, our own label blend has been selected by three different generations of the Avery family, but the house style has remained the same since the very first bottle. Made from 30 cru parcels of grapes and aged on lees for two years, it has a perfect balance of elegance, richness and freshness. With classic biscuit and brioche aromas, elegant citrus and intense orchard fruits and a stream of fine bubbles, the only thing to distinguish it from Grande Marque Champagne is its price. Very handy for a picnic in halves!
