His plan with this zippy white was to make the freshest, most aromatic, good value Sauvignon he could. Using parcels of grapes dotted around France’s southern coast he made a wine that has all the citrusy tang you’d expect from a Sauvignon, plus a light tropical fruit note. And at only 9.5% alcohol, it’s a touch lighter than usual but with all the flavour.
