Nothing quite compares to Lafite. And this outstanding 2022 is no exception. Composed of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, it is a superb expression of everything that makes this estate exemplary. Understandably, it has received significant critical acclaim. Antonio Galloni (Vinous.com) commented, “All the Lafite signatures are present, but what impresses most about the 2022 is its poise, its stature”, adding it’s “built for serious ageing”. A deep core of blue and black fruits layered with tobacco, cedar and graphite nuances. Framed by exquisitely ripe, wonderfully fine grained tannins, it is suffused with an exhilarating freshness typical of the 2022 vintage and a very long perfumed finish. A class act indeed.

"Blackcurrant and tobacco with cedar and hazelnut. Terroir gives great elegance with strength" James Suckling
