The small village of Soussac stands on the slopes of the Butte de Launay, the highest point of the Bordeaux region. It’s here that many generations of the Jolivet family have tended their vines. Then in 1981, the family took over Château Saint Florin, a beautiful 27-hectare estate. Over the years, they have modernised and extended it, all the while taking control over each state of winemaking. Selecting the best grapes from individual plots, this red Bordeaux is a classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It expresses a forward bouquet of ripe red fruits with floral notes and spices. A delicious red to pair with grilled meats, vegetarian nut roast, rich stews, or hard cheeses. Best opened an hour before serving and decanted.

"A classic claret showing a beautiful bouquet of red fruits. Uncork, pour and savour" Jennie Perry
