We first tasted Invivo wines back in 2009 when one of our wine advisors mentioned his cousin, Tim Lightbourne, had started a wine company with best friend Rob Cameron. As a result, we are proud to have been the first wine merchant to introduce Invivo to UK drinkers.
Invivo was founded in 2008 and has quickly found international recognition for the fantastic quality of its wines
Central Otago is a winemaker's dream with its continental climate of hot days, cool nights and very low rainfall. It has so many sub-regions that suit Pinot Noir fantastically, so you can see the grape in all its alluring guises
“The strawberry, rhubarb, blueberry and cranberry flavors are juicy and fresh, with plenty of purity and oomph, offering a firm backbone. Dried herb, fresh earthy loam and spice notes linger, but the fruit continues to sing out on the finish." 92 Points, Wine Spectator (2016 vintage)
Tasting note:Bold, vibrant black cherries, raspberries, subtle thyme, espresso toast all erupt from the glass on the nose. Huge and expansive in the front palate, following through beautifully and seamlessly all the way to the very back of your senses, waves of sweet dark berries with a creamy, savoury baseline and a tight, fresh finish.
