The Full Fifteen Reserve Doreen’s Shiraz is the deluxe edition of one of our bestselling Aussie reds. Bold, smooth and oh-so moreish, it ramps up the richness and power that has made The Full Fifteen a long-time customer favourite.
This special cuvée was first created for us by Andrew McPherson as a tribute to his mother, Doreen. Andrew wanted to honour the woman who embodied Australia’s pioneering spirit and devotion to her family.
For this wine, premium parcels of spicy Shiraz and cassis-scented Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from vineyards along Central Victoria’s Goulburn River. The river moderates the climate, so it’s cooler than expected – this slows ripening and preserves freshness. Grapes are then picked in the cool of the night to lock in delicate aromas and flavours.
In the cellar, the wine is treated to long, luxurious ageing in finest oak barrels. This lends richness and depth of flavour. The result? A berry-laden, richly concentrated red layered with warming spice, smooth tannins and a juicy finish. Ideal for sharing with loved ones, or pair with prime steak, roast lamb or other hearty dishes.
