We’ve been going back to Burgundy for decades, constantly making delicious new discoveries and getting to know the best producers in the region. That’s led us to Vincent Prunier, “a little-known yet superb producer”, to quote the Los Angeles Times. Vincent quietly makes outstanding Chardonnay at his small domaine in Auxey-Duresses that shows off the finest qualities of the fruit; nothing too heavy or over-oaked. It’s exactly the sort of thing we love – and, more importantly, it’s a 5-star favourite with our customers. It’s a classic example of why Burgundy remains the Chardonnay to beat; ripe orchard fruit with crisp minerality, with just the right amount of creaminess. It’s versatile too, matching roast chicken as easily as creamy risotto.
