The Story Behind the Bottle
Bodegas Attis is the mission of the two brothers Robustiano and Baldomero Farina. They were pioneers in bringing the Albariño grape from Rías Baixas to the world’s attention. They then fine-tuned their wines to showcase the differences between each vineyard, matching each grape to its best site. That takes precision winemaking. They are also great champions of the region’s rare native grapes like Espadeiro, Sousón and Pedral. This wine, however, is pure Albariño from their finest, old-vine, Atlantic-cooled plots. Oak fermented and barrel aged with long ageing on its lees for roundness, this is a complex, balanced white. Ripe peach and pear, with toasty spice, this wine is rich and intense, with a bright mineral finish. A fine dining white.
