Vibrant, fruity and elegant, Budburst is an extra dry sparkling wine from Hungary that’s perfect for celebrations with family and friends.
It’s made by our friend Gábor Laczkó, the talented winemaker behind the popular Campanula wines from Hungary. Gábor has been championing Hungarian wines for many years, and we’ve teamed up with him again to create a new range of wines inspired by the moment when the vineyards come to life at the end of winter and flowers bloom on the vines.
Made using the same method as Prosecco, Budburst is made with a blend of grapes, including a selection of native Hungarian varietals. Refreshing and elegant, with crisp lemon and apple fruit, fine bubbles and a creamy texture. Add a little sparkle to any occasion and enjoy it as an aperitif, or with light salads, herby roast chicken or grilled seafood.
