The Wine
Winery of the Year seven times, Casa Silver is one of Chile’s most bemedalled estates. It was founded by Emilio Bouchon who arrived from Bordeaux in 1892. Today, it's run by Mario Pablo Silva, who has made the property one of the leading estates in Chile. The family has pioneered new regions, most recently discovering the volcanic-soil vineyards in the remote Valle de Osorno of Chile’s Patagonia. Situated between the Andes and Lake Ranco, its sloping hillsides enjoy a perfect climate for crisp, aromatic whites and fizz. Fervor combines equal portions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, grown on the prized volcanic soils. Made by the methode traditionnelle like Champagne, this is a rich, toasty fizz with creamy apricot and zesty notes. Very fine.
