The Story Behind the Bottle
The award-winning Casa Silva estate was founded by Emilio Bouchon who arrived in Chile from Bordeaux in 1892. Today, it's run by Mario Pablo Silva, who has made the property one of the leading estates in Chile. The family has pioneered new regions and has been at the forefront of research into Chilean viticulture. You can taste that expertise and enthusiasm in this fresh Sauvignon. Full of stone and tropical fruit flavours, it's a great example of what Chile and this estate can do. Being close to the coast means the vineyards are cooled by ocean breezes and the wine retains bright aroma and terrific zip. A little less 'in your face' fruit than a New Zealander, but still bursting with refreshment. A real treat to enjoy solo or with seafood.
