The Story Behind the Bottle
Dom Pérignon has been Moët et Chandon’s most luxurious cuvée since its inaugural 1921 vintage and is frequently first choice of the rich and famous the world over. The Plénitude Series is a new phenomenon – three releases of a top vintage Dom P to illustrate the different phases of this extraordinary wine. P1 is after 8 years in the cellar, P2 after around 15 years and P3 after 20-30 years, each release perfectly showing the difference of extensive lees ageing. This is fine Champagne at its ultimate. It’s named after a 17th century monk at the abbey in Hautvillers, whose ambition was to make “the best wine in the world”. A Champagne of extraordinary complexity and finesse, that'll make unsurpassed drinking over the next 20 years.
