Champagne house Heidsieck & Co was founded in 1785 by Florens Louis Heidsieck. In 1828 nephew Christian Heidsieck joined forces with Henri Guillaume Piper, and Piper Heidsieck was born. Since then, Piper Heidsieck has become one of Champagne's most awarded Grandes Marques – and very popular with the film industry, most famously with Marilyn Munroe. Their chief winemaker, Émilien Boutillat, is today one of the youngest in Champagne’s history and was awarded ‘Sparkling Winemaker of the Year’ by IWC in 2021 and 2023. They have a firm commitment to treading lightly on the planet, gaining B-Corp certification and joining the International Wineries for Climate Action. Quality, however, is paramount and their Vintage Champagne is pure delight.
