The Story Behind the Bottle
Château Laroze was classified as a Grand Cru Classé in the original 1855 classification. The estate is one large vineyard plot at the foot of the hill, south east of Château Figeac and north of Château Angelus & Canon. The winery was the first in Saint-Émilion to convert to biodynamics in the 90s and continue to farm as such to this day. This 2016 is drinking beautifully now and the wine has great scores from the critics including 94 from James Suckling, making this a great value buy. These final cases won't last long!
