15-year-old rarity from an estate widely regarded as the best Cru Bourgeois in the Médoc. Packed in wooden cases of 12 and yours for just £24 a bottle, normally £29.

Château Potensac always punches above its weight and “since the mid 1970s has been making wines that are clearly of classified growth quality” (The Wine Advocate).

The property lies in the northern Médoc on limestone and gravel soils very similar to those of nearby Saint-Estèphe. And it’s owned by the Delon family, owners of 2ème Cru Classé Château Léovilles Las Cases in Saint-Julien. This winning combination of fine terroir and top winemaking has led to Potensac being considered the finest Cru Bourgeois in the Médoc.

The wines are renowned for being exceptionally ageworthy and the 2011 is beautifully mature and drinking at its best. Packed in wooden cases of 12 – reserve now for delivery in June.
