South Australia is home to great wine regions like the Barossa, Clare Valley, Padthaway, Limestone Coast and many more. So you can be sure of great quality in this terrific red, as you are with all Cleanskin wines. They are an Aussie tradition – when a cellar wants to clear stock through fast, they bottle a premium wine under a minimal label and offer it at a great deal price. Our Buyer Dan is always on the look out for these, and in return we are never allowed to disclose our cellar source – it's part of the deal. This is a terrific red, Shiraz with a splash of Viognier, co-fermented, just like they do in the northern Rhône's Côte Rôtie. Aged in cask for 10 months, this wine is riper than its French cousins. Open early, great with lamb.
