The Story Behind the Bottle
Soave is a revelation – with delicately nuanced fruit, creamy body and a stony freshness that helps the wine age gracefully. His pursuit of excellence leads him to the slopes of Monte Calvarina, where he searches out Garganega grapes. Thriving in the volcanic soils, these grapes lend a radiant minerality to the wine. Hand-picking is as essential on these steep slopes as it is for quality, while lees stirring in old oak vats lends a creamy roundness and texture.
