Company Bay is a terrific value Sauvignon Blanc from Nelson on the northern tip of the South Island. It’s a beautiful region with a lovely coastline, turquoise seas, lush green woodlands and plentiful sunshine. In fact it boasts over 2,400 hours of sunshine a year. It lies next door to Marlborough, so it’s surprising it still lies under the radar. Especially with the quality of the wines coming from this family estate. Hermann and Agnes Seifried founded the estate in 1973, one of the first in the area. Today their three children, Chris, Heidi and Anna, run the property and build on their success. Company Bay Sauvignon is a delicious white, brimful of ripe tropical fruit and zippy lime. Great on its own, with seafood or spicy dishes.
