Yet, happily, we can still enjoy the trappings of the Côte d’Azur lifestyle with wines like Domaine Pontfract.
It comes from a family-owned estate we’ve worked with for years. Winemaker Xavier Paul, or Monsieur Paul as he’s known, is now in his 90s but he still keeps a watchful eye over his vines!
The grapes are given a gentle pressing to extract a delicate colour and delightful, strawberry-scented aromas. Enjoy this pink on its own, or with olive tapenade or a fresh seafood platter.
