The Story Behind the Bottle
This is a crisp, lime-fresh white from the Luis Felipe Edwards estate, four-time winner of the ‘Chilean Winery of the Year’ award. After purchasing his first vineyard, Luis Felipe Edwards Snr then slowly bought up more and more so that today he owns all of a steep valley in Colchagua. You certainly need a head for heights on its upper slopes, but the grapes love the sunshine and the cool nights! He also renovated a beautiful old colonial house, sparing no expense and adding a state-of-the-art winery and luxurious barrel cellar. His son-in-law, Nicolas Bizzarri, is winemaker. Made from a selection of the estate’s best Sauvignon grapes, this white is great solo or as a partner to fish, shellfish or salads.
