Magical New Zealand Sauvignon – there are few more aromatic, intensely fruity styles on the planet. And these selections are the best of the best. Where else to start than Cloudy Bay, the most famous Kiwi Sauvignon of all. The latest release has enticing aromas of ripe honeydew melon and passionfruit with vibrant citrus and blackcurrant leaf notes. There are two huge favourites in Rapaura Springs Reserve and aromatic Dog Point from a former Cloudy Bay duo. And not forgetting the fresh-off-the-boat release from Hunter’s, the cellar put New Zealand Sauvignon on the fine wine map when it won wine of show at our London festival in 1986.
