The Story Behind the Bottle
Malbec is the grape that catapulted Argentina into the limelight and one of the first producers to bring it to the attention of the wine drinking world was Zuccardi. Today Zuccardi is one of Argentina’s most successful family owned wineries and “one of the top names from Argentine wine” robertparker.com. Second generation José Zuccardi was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award and his son was named No.1 winemaker of Argentina. Fuzion is a juicy style of Malbec with flavours of forest fruits, fig and blackberry jam. It’s from the dry, cool 2018 vintage, ideal conditions for ripe fruit with a fresh kick. This wine is a perfect balance of freshness, ripeness and concentration. Lovely solo, but also with red meat and tomato-based pasta dishes.
