This classic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend comes from the Old Road Winery in Franschhoek, a picturesque town overlooked by majestic mountains. Winemaker Ryan Puttick specialises in crafting authentic wines from the region’s historic vineyards.
In the cellar, Ryan uses the lightest of touches to let the grapes’ natural flavours shine. Here, he’s used only free-run juice – extracted without mechanical pressure – to create a bright, fruity sparkling rosé.
With lip-smacking strawberry and raspberry flavours and fine bubbles, Gorgeous Cap Classique is perfect with smoked salmon blinis, creamy goat’s cheese or a bowl of fresh strawberries.
