The Story Behind the Bottle
Looking for a white with a difference? Opt for Viognier, an aromatic wine with lots of floral, peachy notes, that’s best known in the wines of the Rhône Valley and southern France. Now there's a new source for this great grape – it loves Spain’s warm climate and produces delicious, juicy, ripe-flavoured wines. Especially in Valencia where the de Lluna wines are from. Wine critic Stuart Piggott wrote enthusiastically: “Spain is determined to amaze the world with its new wines”, perfectly illustrated by this brightly aromatic white. From the winemaker behind some of our favourite Spanish wines and a winery that was awarded 'Best Producer in Spain 2021’, it’s tasty solo, with chicken or, for something more exotic, a peach and haloumi salad.
