Johnny Quarisa is a full-volume, energetic Aussie winemaker, who has made wine for many top wineries, but with plenty of encouragement (and a bit of “just get on with it, Johnny”) from his wife, Josephine, has now gone out on his own. As he says in his own words, “she has supported, encouraged and occasionally berated me every step of the way”.
His wine, JJ, is a thank you to his Josephine, so of course, only the very best grapes would do. Made exclusively from ripe, juicy Cabernet Sauvignon, it’s a delicious, velvety mouthful of bright fruit.
Juicy blackcurrant, mulberry and cherry with a silky hint of vanilla. A smooth, seductive mouthful that slips down on its own and is a great choice for steak on the BBQ.
