La Révélation Roussanne 2023
La Révélation is a gorgeous southern French white made by award-winning winemaker Mark Hoddy.
To craft this wine, Mark sought out an ancient plot of Roussanne from Joseph Bousquet’s local family estate. While Roussanne is most often blended with Marsanne and Viognier in the prized wines of the Rhône Valley, it also flourishes in the sun-kissed Languedoc. Here, old, gnarled vines produce tiny yields, resulting in grapes with intense flavour concentration.
It captivates from the very first sip, bursting with layers of luscious stone fruit, a touch of subtle spice and a long, elegant finish lifted by a streak of minerality. Beautifully expressive and aromatic, it’s a standout pairing for roast chicken, turkey or seafood.
