Flavour Profile
Since 1990, Franck Châtelain has been making delightful Loire white wines and Le Fief du Temple is a shining example of his skills. A blend of Colombard and Chenin, crafted at the Bougrier’s family estate in Touraine, it is a lively, fresh and fruity white wine that has an attractive roundness thanks to a few months resting on the lees.
Colombard brings the juicy green apple and ripe nectarine notes, while Chenin brings lively citrus hints that make this white so refreshing. A pure joy to drink.
Le Fief clearly shows that the Loire offers much more than great Sauvignon. Enjoy this white wine with creamy chicken, grilled fish or spicy stir-fry.
