Limited Release Central Otago Pinot Noir 2022
Pinot Noir is the hero grape of red Burgundy, with few rivals to challenge its pricy bottles. However, the wines of Central Otago are hot on their heels and this Limited Release parcel is exceptional. Pure, intense, with ripe cherry, plum and spice.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Story Behind the Bottle
This special Limited Release Pinot Noir is not only from New Zealand’s renowned Central Otago in the South Island, it’s from the prized Bendigo subregion. Lying on the east, on the northern slopes of the Dunstan mountains, Bendigo used to be most famous for its gold (it’s named after Australia’s same-name gold town in Victoria) but today has found greater riches in viticulture. It’s gained a reputation for producing some of the area’s most intensely flavoured, full-bodied wines. That’s largely thanks to its superb free-draining soils and its near-perfect climate of hot sunny days followed by cold nights, a perfect recipe for freshness, complexity and depth. Open early and decant. Its rich, silky fruit will be ideal with chicken dishes.
