The Story Behind the Bottle
Founder of Bolle (meaning aptly bubbles) is Roberto Vanin who was brought up in the Italian city of Treviso. His grandmother often asked him "Prendi una bottiglia di bolle" ("Bring a bottle of bubbles"). And those bubbles always seem to bring with it joy and fun. When he left school, he studied winemaking, then decided he would make the finest zero-alcohol wine, so it could be enjoyed by all. Here is the fruit of his labour. Taking premium Chardonnay wine and gently dealcoholizing it using a cutting edge, environmentally friendly method, he manages to preserve more of the wine’s natural characteristics. With additions of grape juice and yeast, the wine then undergoes a secondary fermentation, still at zero ABV. Chill down, pour and enjoy!
