There’s an ever increasing thirst for Aussie wines – and not just from the UK (we ourselves have 100,000 customers out there after a glass). Plus, with two years of drought, yields are certainly smaller. So getting our hands on good value, great tasting wines with class and character is becoming increasingly challenging. This is where our Aussie-born scout comes in – Michael, nicknamed Mr Anderson (that’s one for Matrix fans). And with outback wineries flung far and wide it’s ideal to have a VW Kombi to hole up in. Means he can travel further. Meet our Mr Anderson Far and Wide wine – it captures all that’s great about juicy fresh New World Merlot. Juicy, fleshy yet elegant fruit – a great glass for barbies, grilled meats or spicy bean hash.
