At 5.4% ABV this ruby toned winter ale revives a local favourite brewed by the now closed Wethered’s Brewery in Marlow until 1988 — today faithfully recreated by Rebellion. It pours a deep ruby red, with a creamy off white head, and opens with rich malt aromas, subtle toffee and dried fruit, before delivering layered flavour of caramel, biscuit malt, a gentle twist of English hops and a warming finish. Ideal beside a roaring fire or paired with slow cooked meats and hearty stews.
