The Story Behind the Bottle
The ultimate gift for sparkling wine lovers – a gift box with elegant glasses and the fine Roebuck Rosé de Noirs 2018. Grapes for this wine are hand picked and whole-bunch pressed to lend an extra edge of freshness, while fermentation takes place in a mix of stainless steel vats and French oak barrels. This accounts for the wine’s wonderful layers of flavour and richness. It's from Roebuck Estates, which was born from a passion to put down roots in the English countryside and to champion home-grown produce. To achieve this, they have built a portfolio of first-class vineyards with a great team in place to manage them. Aged three years on lees with a tiny addition of Pinot Precocé for colour, this is a rich, toasty style with a floral lift.
