The De Martino family hail from Italy but left for South America in 1934. They made the Cachapoal Valley their new home and, four generations later, have the largest holdings of organic vineyards in Chile. And, as this Chardonnay demonstrates, their wines always show a great sense of "place, purity and balance".
Twice named 'Chilean Winery of the Year', they specialise in using sustainable vineyard practices, carefully matching each grape to its optimum region. For Chardonnay that means the coastal-cooled Limari Valley.
This is a classic Chilean white wine, brimming with bright peach and apple fruit balanced by creamy roundness. Delicious solo or with chicken, savoury pancakes or salmon.
