The Seleccíon Numerada range promises small one-off parcels of outstanding quality wine at a great value price. This Reserva comes from a top Rioja family estate. Whilst we can't reveal the winery’s name, we can tell you that it was listed as one of the 5 Best Rioja Houses in the last 25 years. They have estate vineyards across all three Rioja sub-regions. This particular parcel comes from Rioja Alavesa, which is widely considered to produce the finest wines. High altitude and cooling Atlantic breeze slow down ripening, increasing the berries depth of flavour, and their ageing potential. Matured for 19 months in American oak barrels and the rest in bottle, this complex Reserva has layers of ripe berry fruit, spice box and toasty vanilla.
