Like this silky, pure fruit 2017 made at the Cave du Perréon – a well established cellar in 18th century buildings constructed by the eponymous Baron de la Vauxonne. It belongs to the Vignerons du Beaujolais, and uses grapes from 150 small-time growers across the region. Made from Gamay grown on the region’s classic granite soils, there's a distinct finesse to this wine’s perfumed fruit. It's silky and juicy, with ripe cherry flavour and floral notes.
