Southern Rivers Sauvignon Blanc NV
Marlborough is New Zealand's No.1 region for dazzling fresh Sauvignon Blanc. And for good reason - taste this zesty, new release. Packed with tropical fruit and well zipped lemon crispness with a seam of minerality, it's elegant and refreshing.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Before the 1970s, recent in wine region terms, New Zealand's Marlborough at the top of South Island was used to grow alfalfa to feed cattle. Indeed, when the first farms decided to have a go at planting vineyards, they had to write to the government to ask permission. By the 1980s, the region's dazzling Sauvignons had leapt onto the world stage and have been wowing our taste buds ever since. This is a fabulous new release largely featuring the top class fruit of 2019, one of the best vintages in a decade, albeit small in quantity. Picking in the cool, early morning and low temperature fermentation ensure the bright, tropical and mineral freshness of this white. A cracker with spicy crab cakes, griddled salmon or halloumi and mango salad.
