The Story Behind the Bottle
The wine is named after the intrepid drovers who moved their flock of sheep from vineyard to vineyard, allowing them to graze among the vines. A benefit to both sides. The wine is from the Scarfone brothers, Michele and Dominico, who emigrated from southern Italy in 1956 and settled in Riverina, New South Wales. They planted their first vine a year later. Today their grandchildren, Adrian and Fernando, continue the legacy, expanding vineyards, but always with the same passion for making great wines. This red is pure, ripe Merlot, full of juicy plum and berry fruit with a touch of oak. Enjoy with steak served with creamy mash or enjoy a glass on its own.
