White Burgundy Showcase

This superb case of white Burgundies opens with a rich, creamy, old-vine selection from Château de la Greffière in the sunny, southerly vineyards of Mâcon. The same region provides another pristine, mineral-fresh classic in Albert Bichot Les Charmes, made by IWC Winemaker of the Year, Albéric Bichot. With precious vines in Puligny-Montrachet and neighbouring villages, Domaine Jean Chartron has access to superb old-vine grapes and their oak-fermented Montmorin delivers citrus freshness and nutty complexity. Finally, there’s Domaine Clos des Rocs, a barrel-fermented, mouthfilling rarity from a tiny appellation, a portion of which belongs to this 7th-generation family estate.
