The Story Behind the Bottle
Yarrunga Field first arrived on our shores to great acclaim in the 1990s, made by the inimitable winemaker Sam Trimboli. Sam has always made wines that reflect his Italian heritage, but this is the first vintage of Yarrunga Field Special Reserve Rosé to be made from 100% Montepulciano. You probably know Montepulciano for its super-soft and juicy Italian reds, but it’s now flourishing in Australia and works a treat as a rosé. Look forward to crushed strawberry fruit flavours, hints of delicate spice and a mouthwatering freshness. Ideal with salmon or seared tuna or, in summer, with barbecued chicken or veggie kebabs.
