Poggello Bianco

Davide Dias is the talented winemaker behind this refreshing white. He works his magic at a cellar in Abruzzo, a region that stretches along Italy’s eastern coast. With pretty coastal coves and dramatic landscapes further inland of soaring mountain peaks, deep valleys and ancient castles, it’s one of Italy’s prettiest. It’s also home to deliciously approachable, good-value wines – plump, plum-filled Montepulciano-based reds and crisp, citrusy Trebbiano whites. Poggello is just that – a blend of mostly Trebbiano, along with other native white grapes. Chill the wine down and enjoy. With its brisk, lemony, apple and pear fruit, it makes a refreshing aperitif or enjoy with fish, chicken or creamy pasta.
