We've worked with Noël Bougrier at his well-established family cellars for many years now, and have always been impressed with what we taste. And as a consequence, Noël always keeps the best cuvées aside for our Buyer. He has vineyards right across the region and he knows exactly where to find the best ones. All the fruit for this elegant white come from Touraine, next door to the Loire's Central Vineyards and its star, Sancerre. From an excellent vintage, this is a classic Touraine Sauvignon: Sancerre without the hefty price tag. Enjoy its lifted aroma, fresh citrus fruits and distinct minerality with hints of elderflower and cut grass. It makes a classy, refreshing aperitif or a great match with white fish, smoked salmon or goat’s cheese.
